For 200 years, the Collingwood Arms has provided a focal point for a colourful local community. As a former coaching inn linking Edinburgh with the south, centuries of Borders visitors have followed the well-trodden path to its door.

Inside, the warm hotel interiors create a welcome that instantly feels like home. The quiet comfort of the Library makes it the perfect place to unwind whilst, across the hall, friends meet amongst the bustle of the paneled hotel bar. Upstairs, the luxurious bedrooms are an ideal retreat; offering space to stretch-out, relax and enjoy a long night’s sleep.

Many of our guests come to cast for a salmon from the mighty River Tweed, which passes only yards from our door. Others come to enjoy the magnificent Northumberland Coast, or to lose themselves in the wilds of the Cheviot Hills.
