Originally the workers’ cottages for the local Tillmouth estate, Tillmouth Cottages had fallen into disrepair until they were transformed in 2007-2008. They

now offer the visitor comfort and luxury in a tranquil setting.



The cottages are easily accessed from the A698 between Berwick and

Wooler and are set within private gardens looking out onto a private courtyard with views across fields towards the Cheviot Hills.

Tastefully decorated and furnished the cottages still retain many of their original features whilst including more modern ones such as ground-source

heating, heated floors, and en-suite bathrooms.



Visitors can expect

• Full entertainment systems are provided with Digital Freeview TV, DVD, and hi-fi. We also provide a wide range of more

traditional options such as board games and books, and binoculars for bird spotting.
